We write our opinion. Occasionally review a game. Definitely react to others’ stories and industry news. Every so often, Robert will post a lengthy dissertation on some obscure aspect of gaming that should really just be skipped. Maybe we’ll label that category “Game Design/Theory”…
What the who is Gonzo?!
Gonzo journalism emphasizes the subjective nature of journalism, where journalists include themselves in their reporting. This just happens to be what blogs are. Expressing our “gonzoism” is admitting our 1st-person nature and general inaccuracy. But, as a blog, suggesting that we’re journalism at all is as much a claim to relevance and relative accuracy as an admission of inaccuracy. So watch out!
